Caustic Wash Plant Power & Control Systems

Humber EC&I were engaged to provide a complete design and build package taking the clients concepts through to site installation. System architecture diagrams, single line diagrams, block diagrams, I/O list, schematic diagrams and general arrangement drawings produced ensuring client requirements are captured. The Power and control system Consisted of 1x Form 2 Type 2 MCC and 1x RIO Panel, The MCC containing 9x DOL and 12x VSD Drives varying in size from 2.2kW upto 15kW,  along with the master PLC for the system with the RIO being located in the plant area to integrate all of the process instrmentation such as control valves, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, flow transmitters, weigh cells and analytical equipment such as pH probes.


All of the above was supplied and built by our in house team using high quality, reliable components from the likes of Simens, Schneider, Omron, Weidmuller, Omron etc...

Sand & Ash Project Site Installation, QA & Commissioning Support

Humber EC&I were engaged to provide electrical & instrumentation installation services for the Sand/Ash project at a local Biomass power station, our team of on-site supervisors and electricians managed the installation of containment, cable pulling, glanding and terminating from conceptual design drawings ensuring compliance to BS7671. We were later engaged to support the end user with QA (testing and plant handover), commissioning support, lighting design and installation along with generation of loop diagrams.

ATEX Compliance - Fuel Storage Depot

Humber EC&I were engaged to carryout ATEX inspections for a well known fuel storage company, on initial survey it was soon made apparent that there had been very little documented evidence of previous inspections and maintenance work carried out. Humber EC&I supported the client by completing the inspection campaign and generating a fully documented and photogrpahed asset database and inspection report which clearly defined where the non-compliances where and what was required to become compliant to BS EN 60079.

Carbon Impregnation Plant Combined Power & Control System

Complete design and build from concept to site installation. Site meeting and survey to agree client requirements, system architecture diagrams, single line diagrams, block diagrams, I/O list, schematic diagrams and general arrangement drawings produced ensuring client requirements are captured. The power and control system contained all of the control gear required to operate the carbon impregnation plant
